Young Men 4 Christ (YM4C) began music ministry in 2012 to touch the very heart of GOD by succumbing to the call and mandate on their life; to lead people to a real place of worship and praise. The group consists of nine powerfully anointed men of God born and raised in Detroit: Lance McGee III (Founder/lead singer), Eric Johnson Sr., Lance McGee Jr., Min. Eric Johnson Jr. (2nd lead singer), Lance Wilson, Tony Stanford, Elder Deveon Gross, Allen Stanford, Joshua Turrentine, and Antwan Alexander. Together they create a matchless heavenly sound that inevitably takes their listeners to a place of heartfelt worship and praise to God Almighty. Young Men 4 Christ has shared the stage with some of the most influential quartet groups such as "Doc McKenzie and the Hi-Lites, The Jackson Southerners, The Canton Spirituals, Paul Porter, Rance Allen, and many many more. In January 2013, they released their demo CD named "Why Not Jesus" Part One, consisting of three great hits. The CD was so popular that it landed on many of Detroit's gospel radio stations and national and international stations. Young Men 4 Christ, on July 7, 2013, at their first-anniversary celebration in Detroit, released their first complete music project, "Why Not Jesus, Fully Introduced." The concert featured Lisa Knowles & The Brown Singers, and a host of other well-known quartet groups. On February 8, 2018, Young Men 4 Christ released their second CD project entitled "FULFILLED" 'Feel the Music from Within.' This project features 2x Stellar Award winner Lisa Knowles-Smith and Stellar Award winner Josh Myles. The Lord has also brought forth many award nominations and awards. To name a few, the 2019 and 2020 Male Group of the Year for the (Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards), 2019 Artist of the Year Traditional, and 2019 Record of the Year "Saved By Grace" for the (S&M Gospel Indie Awards). 2019 Quartet of the Year for the (South Florida Gospel Music Awards)… 2020 Key of Gospel Music and Ministry Award winner (Quartet Group of the Year) and Rhythm of Gospel Awards 2020 (Male Quartet Group of the Year & Special Event CD of the Year)… 2021 River Award Winner (Quartet of the Year)… To God be the Glory, Young Men 4 Christ is the 2021 Stellar Awards Winner for (Quartet of the Year), 2024 Nomination (Quartet of the Year) and a 2021, 2022, and 2024 Dove Award consideration. On February 11, 2022, Young Men 4 Christ was honored with the opportunity to perform in front of 15,000 plus attendees to the Little Caesars Arena as the halftime show for the Detroit Pistons. October 2022 YM4C entered into new territory with our consideration for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in the category for gospel performance/song… Young Men 4 Christ stated that their goal is to use their music to minister to all with a youthful sound while giving a traditional Gospel quartet feel. They intend on living out the legacy of past and present gospel quartet singers. Alternative Management and Marketing Group is Young Men 4 Christ's current management company, along with Jennifer and Company. This collaboration enables them to further their ministry and fulfill their ambition to turn the world upside down by spreading the gospel and spiritually influencing people of all ages.
